The prices below are only approximate. The final cost can also be influenced by several factors, such as: location and accessibility to the worksite, types and complexity of the project, current cost for materials and labor.
Old concrete removal:
With skid steer, removal up to 8" of concrete and any additional dirt or gravel.
- 150-300 sqft - $3.50 per sqft.
- 301-999 sqft - $2.75 per sqft.
- 1000 sqft and up - $2.50 per sqft.
By hand, small pieces up to 150 sq ft or areas where cannot get by the skid steer - $4.50 per sqft.
Dirt, gravel, and fill removal:
With skid steer, removal up to 8" (Cost will vary depending on the amount of dirt you need to remove. Hourly rates might apply for a skid steer and operator).
- 150-300 sqft - $2.75 per sqft.
- 301-999 sqft - $1.75 per sqft.
- 1000 sqft and up - $1.50 per sqft.
By hand, small pieces up to 150 square feet or areas where cannot get by the skid steer - $2.75 per sqft.
Steel reinforcement:
Reinforcement is required because all concrete naturally cracks, so if you want cracks to remain small, you will need reinforcement. The price is provided for a 10 mm rebars no more than 18" apart resting on plastic chairs at the correct grade.
- 150-300 sqft - $2.00 per sqft.
- 301-999 sqft - $1.50 per sqft.
- 1000 sqft and up - $1.25 per sqft.
4" concrete (the best for sidewalk), broom finish:
Forming, 4"-6" of 3/4 down compacted limestone base, 3.5"-4.5" of 32 MPA concrete, stress cuts, formwork removal and clean up.
- 150-300 sqft - $11.00 per sqft.
- 301-999 sqft - $9.50 per sqft.
- 1000 sqft and up - $8.25 per sqft.
6" concrete (our best option for driveways), including broom finish:
Forming, 4"-8" of 3/4 down compacted limestone base, 5.5"-6.5" of 32 MPA concrete, stress cuts, formwork removal and clean up.
- 150-300 sqft - $13.50 per sqft.
- 301-999 sqft - $12.00 per sqft.
- 1000 sqft and up - $11.00 per sqft.
Thickened edge garage pad (smooth finish):
Forming, 4"-8" of 3/4 down compacted limestone base, 5.5"-6.5" slab with 18"-24" thickened edge, 32 MPA concrete, steel reinforcement, stress cuts, formwork removal and clean up.
- 240-480 sqft - $16.00 per sqft.
- 481 sqft and up - $15.50 per sqft.
Thickened edge garage pad with curb (smooth finish):
Forming, 4"-8" of 3/4 down compacted limestone base, 5.5"-6.5" slab with 18"-24" thickened edge, 6"x6" curb, 32 MPA concrete, steel reinforcement, stress cuts, formwork removal and clean up.
- 240-480 sqft - $17.00 per sqft.
- 481 sqft and up - $16.50 per sqft.
Decorative concrete:
Forming, 4"-8" of 3/4 down compacted limestone base, 10mm rebars at 16" to 18" o.c., 4"-6" 32 MPA concrete, decorative stamp finish, stress cuts, formwork removal and clean up. Cure and seal with high gloss sealant. Prices vary depends of thickness of concrete, color and pattern choice.
